Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 3, 2026
This policy describes the information Meridian Community School receives from families, how the school uses it, and how a parent or guardian can manage it.
Information families provide
- Inquiry details — adult contact information, a student's entering grade, and questions included in a visit request.
- Enrollment records — student identity, household contacts, health details, accommodations, and emergency information.
- School records — attendance, teacher observations, assessments, and family communications created during enrollment.
- Billing details — payment status and transaction references; card numbers remain with our payment processor.
Student privacy
This public website is intended for adults. We do not ask children to submit personal details here. Within the school, student records are available only to employees and service providers whose work requires access. We do not sell student or family information.
How information supports the school
- Responding to admissions questions and arranging campus visits.
- Teaching, advising, safeguarding, and supporting enrolled students.
- Managing attendance, tuition, school events, and family notices.
- Meeting recordkeeping and safety obligations.
Limited sharing
The school uses selected providers for secure records, payments, email, and scheduling. They receive only the information needed for their work and must protect it. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to address an immediate safety concern.
Retention and family requests
Inquiry records are kept only as long as admissions follow-up reasonably requires. Enrollment records are retained according to school recordkeeping needs and applicable law. Parents and guardians may request access to or correction of their family's information.
